Billing Clerk (Quick Books Required)
$24–$27/hr DOE | Garden City, NY | Monday–Friday | Temp-to-Hire | Onsite
A well-established company in Garden City, NY is seeking an experienced Billing Clerk to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with strong billing experience and solid Quick Books skills.
Responsibilities- Enter and process billing and invoice information accurately in Quick Books
- Review billing documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including posting payments and reconciling discrepancies
- Maintain organized billing records and documentation
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve billing issues
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate billing cycles
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as assigned
- 2–3 years of billing or accounting support experience
- Quick Books experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $24.00 - $27.00
