Controller - GP Post-Implementation

Description

We are looking for a skilled Controller with extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains to join our client's team. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to address post-implementation challenges, collaborate closely with a dynamic team, and contribute to essential financial operations. Responsibilities:

- Manage and optimize financial modules within Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.

- Troubleshoot and resolve post-implementation issues in Dynamics GP to ensure seamless functionality.

- Perform month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.

- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Prepare and review journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.

- Support audits and provide documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

- Offer insights and recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.

- Maintain detailed records and ensure accuracy in all aspects of financial management.

- Contribute to the success of key financial projects within the organization.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, particularly in financial modules.

- Proficiency in month-end close activities, including reconciliation and journal entries.

- Strong expertise in managing General Ledger and Fixed Assets.

- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Dynamics GP.

- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.

- Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and meet deadlines consistently.
