Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Garden Grove, California. This onsite opportunity supports business-to-business collections for commercial customers and is structured as a Contract to Permanent position. The person in this role will help improve cash recovery, reduce overdue balances, and maintain organized collection records while partnering closely with accounting leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Contact commercial clients regarding overdue balances for vending and coffee service accounts, using consistent and timely follow-up methods.
• Track collection activity, payment commitments, and account status updates in Excel to maintain accurate and current records.
• Partner with the Controller to review aging receivables, determine collection priorities, and elevate complex account issues when needed.
• Focus on recovering outstanding invoices and contributing to weekly cash collection goals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts closely to help minimize write-offs and support healthier accounts receivable performance.
• Prepare clear status updates on collection efforts, payment trends, and unresolved balances for internal review.
• Support an onsite collections process by managing a steady volume of past-due accounts with consistency and attention to detail.
