Accounting Bookkeeper

Job Description

The Accounting Bookkeeper will play a vital role in managing financial records and supporting accounting activities within our organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position handles a medium volume of transactions monthly and uses Quick Books as the primary accounting software to maintain accurate bookkeeping. The role includes occasional collaboration with external auditors to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
• Process invoices and track expenses efficiently
• Support payroll processing activities
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
• Reconcile bank statements regularly
• Collaborate with external auditors when required

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in bookkeeping
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficient with Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
• Experienced in accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with payroll processing
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Effective communication abilities
