Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead / Supervisor to guide a busy receivables function in Garden Grove, California. This role will oversee day-to-day collections activity, strengthen processes, and help improve incoming cash performance across a large account base. The position is ideal for someone who can coach a small team, create clear accountability, and partner with leadership to resolve complex account issues in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

- Direct daily accounts receivable activities for a high-volume portfolio of roughly 2,000+ customer accounts.

- Lead collection efforts to reduce overdue balances and support steady cash flow for business operations.

- Supervise, coach, and develop a small AR team while preparing the function for future expansion.

- Create clear workflows, performance standards, and accountability measures across the receivables process.

- Review aging reports regularly and ensure consistent follow-up on delinquent customer balances.

- Design and refine collection strategies for complex, labor-intensive receivables activity.

- Measure team and individual results against collection targets and address gaps in performance.

- Work closely with internal leadership to escalate account concerns and drive timely resolution of payment issues.

- Support the continued build-out of the accounts receivable function for the Garden Grove, California location.

- Maintain a collaborative, team-oriented presence in a fully onsite manufacturing environment during standard business hours.

Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.

- Strong background in commercial collections within a high-volume receivables environment.

- Demonstrated ability to manage aging reports, billing activity, cash applications, and collection follow-up.

- Self-motivated approach with the ability to stay organized and drive results with minimal oversight.

- Proven success establishing structure, priorities, and accountability within AR operations.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with an established onsite team.

- Comfortable partnering with leadership to resolve escalated account and payment challenges.
