POSITION TITLE:
Front Desk Receptionist
JOB CLASSIFICATION:
Non-exempt.
DEPARTMENT:
Parish Office
REPORTS TO:
Business Manager.
SCHEDULE:
Part time (15-20 hours per week)
PAY RANGE: $17.00/ hour to $17.50/ hour
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
None

We are replacing the Part-time Front Desk Receptionist to cover our office needs. This person must be reliable, trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision. Will need to work 12 to 15 hours a week (sometime weekend and night shift hours coverage required)
Essential FunctionsPrimary duties and responsibilities include:
- Process checks and cash through our daily operations.
- Log pledge payments into daily cash log and database(s) e.g. Camino software
- Follow-up with the parishioners/priests/vendors for all requests.
- Create and set up schedule for facilities booking services.
- Weekly Input Collections Entry into Excel spreadsheet
- Prepare mailing certificate, letters, as needed.
- Cover the Front Desk; answering phones, assisting visitors, sorting mail, etc.
- Front Desk Duty. Answering phones, taking payments, cash log chores.
- Additional duties as assigned
Occasionally works on the Sunday hours to cover staff as needed.
RequiredQUALIFICATIONS &
EXPERIENCE:
- Bilingual - Able to communicate in writing and verbally in either English/Spanish
- Minimum one or more years’ experience as a receptionist or similar customer service work.
- Excellent phone presence.
- Ability to handle multiple interruptions while attempting to maintain focus.
- Good organizational skills.
- Proficient in maintaining a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Ability to adhere to standards of confidentiality.
- Excellent skills in cooperating and working with others.
- Proficient with clerical/secretarial office duties as needed.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot minor computer, copier, scanner problems.
- Proficient with computerized and cloud-based Documents/Spreadsheets/Email. (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Ability to learn new software programs as needed.

Basic computer equipment, keyboard, mouse, telephone, copier, facsimile, calculator and paper shredder.
Essential Physical Tasks:
Communicate, move, remain stationary, reach, occasionally carry materials as needed weighing up to 30 lbs.
