Job Overview

We are offering an up to $1,000 Sign‑On Bonus to qualified candidates. Garden Grove Dog and Cat Hospital is hiring an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our amazing team! The Customer Service Representative is the primary support to our front office.

Job Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and patients in a friendly manner.
  • Prepare drop‑off forms, review estimates and obtain client authorizations.
  • Coordinate incoming calls and client call backs.
  • Set up and schedule all appointments for new patients and rechecks.
  • Track no‑shows and cancelled appointments by making notations in the medical record.
  • Enter new client and patient information into computer.
  • Enter all correspondence into patient’s medical record.
  • Keep existing client and patient information up to date.
  • Light cleaning of the exam rooms and front lobby area.
  • Check clients out by receiving and processing payment for services rendered; also reviewing medications and providing invoice.
  • Receive signed surgery/treatment consent forms and euthanasia forms.
  • Monitor incoming emails and distribute appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • Has at least 1–2 years experience.
  • Works well on a team.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills – communicates clearly with veterinarians, other hospital personnel, and clients to ensure that patients receive the care they need.
  • Compassionate and empathetic.
  • Must be friendly and flexible in the face of varying expectations from clients and coworkers.
  • Able to multi‑task, prioritize tasks well, and think creatively.
  • Provide for patient and client comfort by keeping the hospital clean and presentable.
  • Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
Schedule & Pay

Days and

Hours:

Four shifts per week including three weekday shifts and one weekend shift, 36 hours per week.

Pay Range: $18 – $20 hourly dependent upon experience.
