The RoleThis position is responsible for the successful product design of sealing solutions using knowledge of polymer, metallic and elastomer materials and applying general engineering principles.
- A strong link between the Sales, Operations, and Technical Team you belong to, bringing together simulation, materials and testing experts to solve the most advanced technical issues related to critical applications.
- Ability to solve problems and work with diverse markets each with their own challenges.
- Ability to work under time constraints in a fast‑paced environment.
- Sense of urgency in completing projects and proactively initiating creative thoughts to improve processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science or equivalent (required).
- Master's degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science or equivalent (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in specialized industries/markets, working in a manufacturing environment and communicating with customers on technical issues (required).
- Understanding of customer applications and building application expertise.
- Proficient in Solidworks and/or AutoCAD.
- Design and develop sealing components.
- Understand engineering fundamentals and apply them to the design process.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Use project management tools to lead assigned activities and projects.
Salary range: $81,500 to $126,500 per year, base pay may vary by region, equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Eligible for annual bonus up to 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance. Total target cash range (base pay plus bonus) $89,650 to $139,150. Bonuses are variable and not guaranteed.
