Responsibilities

+ Develop and execute test plans for vehicle systems and components.

+ Select and implement appropriate instrumentation for vehicle testing.

+ Conduct vehicle testing on test tracks, public roads, and controlled environments.

+ Analyze test data to identify and diagnose performance issues and defects.

+ Document test results, findings, and recommendations in Jira.

+ Collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues.

+ Contribute to the development and implementation of test methodologies and standards.

+ Maintain and calibrate test equipment for accuracy and reliability.

+ Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in vehicle testing technologies.

Essential Skills

+ Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components, including powertrain, chassis, electrical systems.

+ Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.

+ Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Proficiency in data analysis tools.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with automotive testing standards (e.g., SAE) is a plus.

+

Experience with specific testing methodologies (e.g., NVH, durability, reliability) is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes conducting tests on vehicle test tracks, public roads, and controlled environments. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Garden Grove, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
