Lead Platform Engineer

One of Insight Global's customers is looking to onboard a Lead Platform Engineer to drive the strategy, architecture, and modernization of their endpoint and digital workplace environment. This individual will focus heavily on Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Intune, Entra , and Microsoft 365 technologies while developing standards and best practices for device management across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. They will be responsible for creating scalable endpoint solutions that improve security, stability, and end-user experience while working toward a true zero-touch provisioning model through technologies such as Windows Autopilot.

This person will partner closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and support teams to ensure devices remain secure, compliant, properly configured, and aligned with the organization's long-term platform strategy. This role will also serve as a technical leader responsible for driving automation, platform improvements, and overall endpoint engineering maturity. This is a remote and six month contract to hire opportunity.
