The Embassy Suites Anaheim South is one of the largest Embassy Suites within the Hilton portfolio and has recently completed a $7.5 million public space renovation. With 13,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, an on-site restaurant, Juniper, featuring Mediterranean cuisine and craft cocktails, and an attractive outdoor pool area, the hotel is a premier destination in the Anaheim market. Located just 10 minutes from Disneyland, this property operates in one of California's most dynamic hospitality markets and is supported by a high-performing, service-driven team.

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the hotel, including Rooms, Food and Beverage, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Administration. This leader sets the culture of the workplace with an unwavering emphasis on guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and financial performance. The General Manager drives revenue and profitability through direct oversight of the on-property commercial team and strong partnership with corporate sales and revenue leadership.

Success in this role requires operational excellence, disciplined financial management, brand compliance, and the ability to inspire and retain a best-in-class team.
What you'll be doing...
  • Lead all aspects of hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and brand excellence.
  • Drive top-line revenue performance through active partnership with Sales and Revenue Management while maintaining disciplined expense controls.
  • Oversee purchasing and cost management to effectively manage controllable expenses.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team while fostering strong associate engagement.
  • Cultivate a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Serve as the visible leader of the hotel, setting clear expectations and modeling company values.
  • Proactively address guest concerns and ensure service recovery is executed with urgency and care.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain strong communication across departments to ensure operational readiness and efficiency.
  • Represent the hotel within the local community while maintaining positive owner and brand relationships.

Experience &

Education:

  • Candidates should have at least 5 years of progressive hotel management experience, preferably within Hilton or a comparable full-service brand, with demonstrated experience leading high-volume, group-driven hotels.
  • Experience working closely with sales strategy and revenue management initiatives is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate is a visible, hands-on leader with strong financial acumen, proven experience managing budgets and forecasting, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to solve problems with diplomacy and professionalism. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
