In the role of Supply Chain Expeditor, you'll play a pivotal part on our Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain Expeditor is responsible for supporting Operations and performing detail work such as finding the status of individual parts and expediting them through the system for use immediate use in the production of aircraft interiors.
This position reports to the Production Manager.
- Expedite part shortages to assigned work‑center
- Fulfill Manufacturing Order kit backorders
- Manage all requests needed to support critical items through the Receiving process
- Distribute Manufacturing Orders to the appropriate work‑centers
- Manage debits and credits to Manufacturing Orders kits list in local MRP system
- Support the full closure for all Manufacturing Orders
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience0-3 years.
Knowledge & Skills- Computer
Skills:
Familiar with Windows Operating System® and ability to utilize MRP system. - Other
Skills:
Ability to read engineering blueprints and familiarity with manufacturing environment is strongly desired. - Effective oral and written communications skills
- Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
