CNC Lathe Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Supervisor to lead daily operations in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role oversees a team responsible for set‑up, operation, and programming of multiple CNC lathe machines. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a commitment to maintaining safe, efficient, and high‑quality production.

Annual pay range is $110,000–$125,000, inclusive of expected overtime based on typical operational needs.

• Supervise and coordinate first‑shift CNC lathe activities, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.
• Perform advanced CNC lathe set‑ups, tooling adjustments, offsets, and program as needed.
• Train, mentor, and support operators and set‑up personnel to strengthen skill development and performance.
• Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain machine performance through routine inspections and coordination of maintenance needs.
• Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and compliance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with production management, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement.

• Minimum 8 years of CNC lathe experience, including set‑up, operation, and programming.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of G‑code, tooling, feeds/speeds, and machining best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and precision measurement tools.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
