The Role
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities that support key customers, manufacturing operations, and cross-functional teams. This role has primary responsibility for managing quality system processes, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), non-conformance management, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer quality concerns. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality management systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong and consistent presence on the manufacturing floor, in quality laboratories, and within clean-room production environments. The Quality Supervisor works directly with production personnel, engineers, technicians, and inspectors to drive process compliance, product quality, contamination control, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven background supporting injection molding, machining, and complex assembly processes in highly regulated manufacturing environments including semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or performance plastics industries.
Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop Quality Inspectors and Technicians to ensure consistent execution of quality requirements.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and drive improvements in defect reduction, scrap reduction, and process capability.
• Conduct and support internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Lead internal corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, including ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, or other applicable standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on process validations, risk assessments, PFMEA, control plans, and quality improvements.
• Ensure inspection activities, documentation, and records meet customer, regulatory and company requirements.
• Train personnel on quality procedures, standards and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
• 3+ years of Progressive experience in Aerospace Quality Administration.
• 3+ years experience Plastics, Machining, and/or Injection Molding Operations Analytics, Project management (Preferred)
• Auditor and ISO: ASQ (CQE, CQM, CQA) certification (Preferred)
• WCM or Six Sigma Greenbelt (Preferred)
