Job Description As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Garden Grove, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Full Time / Mix Shift Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document access activity in support of security-related site protocols.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and restricted access areas to help identify unusual activity and report policy-related concerns.
* Support screening and checkpoint operations for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering the location, following post orders and security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A guard card/license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Access control/badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
