Delivery Driver responsible for operating delivery and service equipment, processing orders, stocking and delivering products, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Must have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.

• Operate all equipment as required.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork; clean equipment and facility daily.
• Deliver product by car and to the customer’s door; distribute flyers and door hangers as needed.
• Navigate designated delivery areas and ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.

Orientation and on-the-job training provided.

• Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to process orders over the phone and in person.

• Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (may use calculator); ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal and writing skills to take and process orders; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Strong motor coordination and rapid, precise movements.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area; ability to navigate multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather; in-store temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+; sudden temperature changes.
• Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Sensing: talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision; depth perception.
• Temperaments: ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, work with others, analyze data, and make decisions.
• Standing: most tasks performed standing; walking on varied surfaces; height of work surfaces 36–48 inches.
• Walking: short-distance walking; travel between store, vehicle, and customer location during delivery.
• Sitting: paperwork in an office setting.
• Lifting/Carrying: bulk product deliveries may require lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying heavy cans and trays; several items carried during delivery and inventory tasks.
• Driving: multiple deliveries per shift within designated area.
• Climbing/Stoop/Reach: occasional climbing of stairs or ladders; reaching above 72 inches; bending and stooping as part of stocking and maintenance tasks.
