- Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, billing, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and submit AIA billing and other client invoicing.
- Process subcontractor payments and manage Textura payment system.
- Maintain Timberline accounting system and Sage 300 ERP system.
- Handle project-related payroll and employee expense reports.
- Work with project managers to forecast project costs and cash flow.
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Use Procore construction management software to track project financials.
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
- Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project accounting.
- Proficiency in construction accounting software, including AIA, Textura, Timberline, Sage 300, and Procore.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas.
- Solid understanding of construction accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience with construction payroll processing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
