Position Summary
Senior Inside Sales Manager (Sr. ISM) is responsible for expanding business through the day-to-day management and coaching of a quotation team and inside sales; ensuring timely response to requests for quotes (RFQ’s), order acknowledgment, order fulfillment, and proactive development of accounts. The Sr. ISM should display and cascade an enterprise mentality and create a positive environment. He/she is also responsible for the prioritization and assignment of their resources, setting clear goals and priorities and tracking performance toward goals for their direct reports.
The Sr. ISM will communicate with a wide array of audiences at every level of the business and coordinate evolving needs of the customer to drive necessary actions at the plant. We seek someone who is action biased and accomplishment driven who will challenge the status quo and get results.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the Inside Sales Department and Quotation Team
- Set clear goals and track performance to goals for direct reports
- Develop /manage /own all aspects of the quoting, pricing and contracting processes.
- Manages all sales administrative functions relating to total customer satisfaction from order entry to delivery of a finished product including after delivery finance and collection efforts.
- Provide accurate forecasts for all customer accounts through working with account managers, inside sales, and customers for a quarterly, annual and biannual view on future business, highlighting and tracking risks & opportunities to baseline
- Work with the sales and marketing team of Contracts Administrators, Pricing analysts, and other PCC Sales Managers to negotiate favorable contract terms, pricing, and agreements.
- Gather market intelligence and provide trip reports detailing the status of customers, competitors, suppliers, and influencers of the industry we serve.
- Own the relationship between PCC Fluid Fittings and the customers; supporting regular communications through face to face meetings, video conferences, presentations, phone calls, and emails with all professional levels and technical backgrounds
- Demonstrates working knowledge of export/import, DFAR and other buy American laws and regulations that impact the Company’s ability to do business with the government of the United States. Establishes and maintains processes to ensure compliance of order fulfillment process with regulations.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws pertaining to safety, environment, SOX and corporate governance.
- Coordinates product development and customer requirements with Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Manufacturing.
- Performs other duties and ad hoc requests as assigned.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, mastery of the English language required for understanding of contracting and protocol
- Candidate must be organized, able to multi-task, track and coordinate the efforts of others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite:

Experience in Project - Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
- Strong relationship builder
- Ability to work in a team environment in a fast paced manufacturing plant
- Capable of understanding the technical nuances of the key product lines (swaged fittings, standards, and tooling) knowledge and communication of key differences
