Assistant Safety Coordinator; Entry-Level

Job Title: Assistant Safety Coordinator (Entry-Level)

Compensation: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant Safety Coordinator to join our team. Working directly under the mentorship of our Safety Director, you will learn safety operations on the job, conduct field and shop visits, facilitate training, and maintain our digital safety and tool-tracking platforms.

• Conduct regular shop and job-site walkthroughs wearing required PPE.
• Deliver engaging safety training sessions to field and fabrication crews.
• Draft clear, concise incident reports and safety documentation.
• Review and summarize equipment manuals into accessible safety guidelines.
• Manage digital records using tool-tracking and safety training platforms.

Bilingual English/Spanish (Required): Fluent in reading, writing, and verbal communication.

• Strong Communication Skills (Required): Confident speaking in front of crews and capable of writing clear technical summaries.
• Field Readiness (Required): Eager to spend time on active construction sites and shop floors.
• Industry Experience (Preferred): General construction background (ironwork experience is a plus, but not required).
• Software Familiarity (Preferred):
  
  Experience with platforms such as Procore, Hilti ON!
  
  Track, or similar project management and asset-tracking tools.
• Education & Certifications (Preferred): College degree or relevant safety credentials (e.g., CHST, CRIS). We support and sponsor certification completion on the job.
