Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Quality Engineer Intern to support our Quality team in ensuring products and processes meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role will work closely with multifunctional teams across manufacturing, engineering, and operations, specifically supporting aerospace fastener manufacturing processes. The intern will gain hands‑on experience with quality systems, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with preparing quality inspections, audits, and documentation reviews
- Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and documentation support
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and supplier quality records
- Collect, analyze, and report quality‑related data
- Help maintain quality records, procedures, and work instructions
- Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization projects
- Assist in monitoring nonconformances and tracking corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams
- Support compliance with AS9100 and ISO, regulatory, or customer quality requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with tools such as 8D-Problem Solving Method, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams
- Experience with documentation control or manufacturing environments
- Hands‑on quality engineering experience
- Exposure to real‑world quality systems and industry standards
- Mentorship from experienced quality professionals
- Opportunities to contribute to impactful improvement projects
- Ability to work in an office, lab, or manufacturing setting
- Occasional standing or light lifting may be required
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Benefits- Pay range: $21.00 to $24.00 USD hourly
