Job Details
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HVAC projects. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems, commercial construction, project management, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing). Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise HVAC projects from conception to completion.
- Prepare and submit RFIs, change orders, and project schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and other construction professionals to ensure project requirements are met.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
- Ensure all HVAC systems meet company standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure the project is executed as per the plan and schedule.
- Identify potential project risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, specifically in mechanical industry and commercial construction.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and air conditioning.
- Strong understanding of MEP.
- Proven experience in managing project schedules and change orders.
