We are seeking a Driver Acquisition Team Leader to support the execution of driver manpower planning and driver acquisition activities across assigned cities in the US. This role is responsible for helping ensure sufficient, high-quality driver supply through effective recruitment execution, day-to-day team coordination, and close collaboration with Operations and City teams.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with clear ownership of local recruitment activities, team coordination, and daily performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities1. Driver Supply Execution
- Support execution of city-level driver supply plans to meet demand and growth targets.
- Help translate regional supply plans into local execution actions.
- Track supply health metrics (active drivers, activation rate, readiness).
- Flag supply gaps early and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate driver hiring through multiple channels, including:
- Local recruitment hubs / walk-in sessions
- Community outreach and partnerships
- Driver referral programs
- Digital sourcing channels (local job platforms, social media)
- Execute recruitment campaigns aligned with city launches, peak demand, and expansion plans.
- Support continuous improvement of sourcing mix and recruitment funnel efficiency.
- Conduct interviews and screening.
- Manage document verification and compliance checks.
- Coordinate onboarding scheduling and readiness tracking.
- Follow recruitment SOPs and local compliance requirements consistently.
- Contribute to improving speed, quality, and candidate experience across the recruitment journey.
- Lead and coach a small team of recruiters and/or field staff.
- Set daily/weekly execution plans and monitor performance against targets.
- Maintain strong on-ground discipline, productivity, and accountability within the team.
- Support onboarding and capability building for new team members.
- Track key recruitment KPIs, including:
- Funnel conversion
- Time-to-hire
- Cost-per-hire
- Activation and readiness rates
- Provide regular performance updates to the Manager/City leadership.
- Use data to identify and flag areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Operations, City, and Marketing teams to ensure:
- Timely onboarding and workforce readiness
- Alignment between supply planning and operational needs
- Support new city launches and peak-demand planning.
- 3–5+ years of experience in recruitment, workforce acquisition, or frontline operations.
- 1+ years of team leading or supervisory experience in high-volume or field-based environments.
- Experience in mass hiring / frontline workforce recruitment, preferably within:
- Ride-hailing
- Transportation or operationally intensive industries
- Solid understanding of on-ground recruitment execution in the US.
- Strong execution, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with data and tracking KPIs.
- Hands-on, resilient, and able to operate in fast-paced environments.
