Position

Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for the seamless process of customer orders from the time received to time shipped, ensuring effective collaboration with the Logistics Coordinator, Purchasing, and Operation teams leading to total customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Order Management & Execution
  • Process customer purchase orders within 4 hours of receipt to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Enter and manage orders in both customer DSS systems and internal ERP systems
  • Maintain 99% accuracy across all customer accounts and order processing activities
  • Conduct daily follow-ups on unresolved tasks to maintain a 100% fill rate
Logistics & Shipment Coordination
  • Coordinate weekly container planning for ocean shipments
  • Maintain shipment board and ensure containers are ready for picking by required deadlines
  • Coordinate product movement between storage and loading warehouses to meet required delivery dates (RDD)
  • Collaborate with Logistics team to support transportation needs and resolve issues
Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Respond to stakeholder email requests promptly, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Utilize Asana to track orders and manage internal communication workflows
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Apply job knowledge to resolve issues and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
Team Support & Collaboration
  • Provide backup support for other Account Managers as needed
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to support productivity and uphold company values
Compliance & Policy Adherence
  • Adherent to company policies, departmental procedures, and all applicable regulatory requirements
Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOB Communication & Comprehension
  • Communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
  • Demonstrates strong professional writing skills and the ability to correspond articulately.

  • Apply sound judgment and decision‑making skills to achieve effective solutions.
  • Maintains professionalism and composure in high‑pressure situations.
Physical & Sensory Requirements
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally outside the local area as needed.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk; occasional lifting and bending.
  • Capable of hearing and speaking effectively to ensure clear communication.
WORKING CONDITIONS

The work environment is a climate‑controlled office setting, well‑lit with a moderate noise level.
