Senior Customer Service / Account Manager (Logistics – Food Wholesale)
OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Customer Service / Account Manager to support key client relationships within a fast-paced food wholesale and logistics environment. This role is responsible for managing high-volume accounts, ensuring order accuracy and on-time delivery, and acting as the primary point of contact between customers, operations, and distribution teams.
The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven setting, understands supply chain dynamics, and is skilled at problem-solving in real time.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Process and monitor high-volume orders, ensuring accuracy, pricing, and timely fulfillment
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, transportation, and supply chain teams to resolve delivery issues
- Track shipments, inventory levels, and order status to proactively communicate with clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns including delays, shortages, and product issues
- Support forecasting and demand planning by communicating trends and customer needs
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems (orders, pricing, customer communication)
- Assist in onboarding new clients and supporting account growth initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or inside sales within logistics, distribution, or food wholesale
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, order fulfillment, and inventory flow
- Experience managing high-volume accounts and complex order cycles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and ERP/CRM systems
- Experience in food distribution, perishable goods, or CPG logistics
- Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Net Suite, or similar ERP platforms
- Experience working with retailers, restaurants, or grocery clients
- Exposure to transportation coordination (LTL, FTL, routing, delivery scheduling)
$27 to $30 per hour
