Thread​/Form Roll Operator

Precision Castparts Corp -  - Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, or tend thread/form roll machines to roll steel forming bends, beads, knurls, rolls, or to flatten, temper, or reduce gauge of material according to shop traveler specifications and operation procedures.;
Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.;
Crank machines through cycles, stopping to adjust tool positions and machine controls to ensure specified timing, clearances, and tolerances.;
Inspect sample work pieces to verify conformance with specifications, using gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators.;
Follow standard operating procedures to check, test, login, logout, and thread roll good quality parts, coordinating with department’s supervisor or lead during the process.
