Position: Interim Director Nursing Clinical Service, Days

Interim Director Nursing Clinical Service Days Needed in Gardena, California! The Position

An Interim Director Nursing Clinical Service Days is needed to direct and coordinate nursing department functions and assigned clinical operations while ensuring the delivery of high‑quality patient care. The shift is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Key responsibilities include developing departmental goals and policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, directing clinical and financial operations, implementing Standards of Nursing Practice, and collaborating with administration to support organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will have recent Director of Nursing leadership experience in an acute care or LTAC setting, be highly organized, patient‑focused, adapt quickly to changing needs, and possess excellent communication skills. Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare‑related field required; nursing is highly preferred. Active California RN license required. Three or more years of recent Director of Nursing experience in an acute care or LTAC setting required.

Compensation Details

Compensation range: $160,000 to $175,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, and a flexible spending account. The base compensation range is a good faith estimate and may be subject to future adjustments.
