• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Order and control inventory, ensure product quality, and supervise the Bakery team.
• Execute merchandise rotation and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Deliver excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery products.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and enforce them with the Bakery team.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand for up to 3 hours continuously during an 8‑hour shift; transfer trays up to 5 lbs. and items up to 40 lbs. without mechanical assistance.

• At least 18 years old with a minimum of two years of retail grocery experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive direction in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and sanitizing of the department.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed; accurately weigh and label products.
• Adhere to safety, health, Weights and Measures regulations, and maintain a Food Handlers permit.

The pay range for this position is $17.55 – $24.55 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
