Outside Sales Representative

Savory Gourmet is a family-owned and operated specialty foods company, acting as an importer and distributor of specialty foods in Southern California. We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to develop sales in the greater Los Angeles area (including Westside, South Bay).

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and smart full-time outside sales representative to help manage new and existing accounts in Southern California. Must have a passion for food and some gourmet food work experience. This is a great position for chefs looking to get out of the kitchen.

This job will typically be M-F (sometimes weekends, depending on client needs).

• Be familiar with the food scene in SoCal/surrounding areas
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent field experience (food experience preferred). Must be a people-person.

• Build relationships with key decision makers; act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts
• Savvy traveler throughout LA/surrounding area, when visiting each account
• Cold call/visit new account opportunities
