Field Security Supervisor – Gardena, CA. Must have valid driver's license.

Job Summary

Supervises guarding operations at multiple sites, performing inspections, ensuring post orders are followed, coaching and training personnel, carrying out administrative procedures as required by Branch, responding to incidents and providing service coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

Supervises Security Officers and/or other personnel, ensures high quality service and initiates corrective action.

Meets with Branch management/ client representatives for status updates, provides support during client start-ups, inputs to security planning, and reviews post orders.

Participates in orientation, training, development and retention of staff.

Assigns and directs work, coaches employees, carries out disciplinary actions, and refers problematic issues to Branch management.

Maintains a professional environment in compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Communicates scheduling, staffing, equipment, record keeping matters with Branch management and Field Supervisors.

Inspects client sites, ensures coverage and post order compliance, visits client representatives, covers vacant posts as needed.

Reviews required reports for accuracy, assists in payroll and billing information.

Performs tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Legal right to work in the US.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Willingness to participate in pre‑employment screening, drug screen and background investigation.

Hiring Standards

Reliable means of communication (pager or phone).
Reliable means of transportation (public or private).
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be willing to comply with drug screening and background checks.

Working Conditions

Use of vehicle may be required.
Exposure to inclement weather and protective gear as needed.
Handling sensitive and confidential information.
