Part-Time / Regular Relief Security Officer

GPI Security Services is seeking a dependable

Relief Mobile Patrol Security Officer for a Healthcare Realty security account covering several nearby properties in Laguna Hills and Laguna Woods.

This is aregular 32-hour position, not an on-call-only assignment. The Relief Officer provides scheduled weekday swing coverage and weekend day coverage while operating an assigned patrol vehicle throughout the property portfolio.

The Relief Officer must become fully trained on bothday-shift and swing-shift procedures, making this an important position within the account. Responsibilities include roving vehicle and foot patrols, property inspections, parking enforcement, checking buildings and parking areas for unauthorized persons and suspicious activity, identifying hazards and property damage, securing or checking designated access areas, responding to incidents and tenant concerns, maintaining patrol vehicle and equipment accountability, and completing accurate daily reports and pass-down documentation.

Weekend patrol responsibilities place particular emphasis on checking properties that are closed or operating on reduced schedules for trespassing, loitering, vandalism, leaks, property damage, unsecured doors, suspicious vehicles, and other unusual conditions.

Because this officer works both day and swing operations, candidates must be adaptable, dependable, and capable of learning the complete patrol route and property-specific responsibilities.

Valid California BSIS Guard Card, valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record, ability to operate a company patrol vehicle, professional appearance, strong communication and documentation skills, ability to conduct walking patrols and stairs, dependable attendance, and availability for the complete Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule.
