Senior Robotics Software Engineer

I’m partnered with a growing robotics scale-up at the forefront of AI-driven industrial and logistics automation. This heavily backed start-up, founded in 2024, is expanding its engineering team and looking for a Robotics Software Engineer with strong hands‑on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining software for advanced robotic systems.

You’ll join a team of world‑class engineers and researchers in Gardena, building next‑generation robots‑as‑a‑service solutions for industrial automation.

• Design, develop, and optimize software for robotic workforce solutions using C++, Python, and ROS / ROS 2.
• Implement control algorithms, sensor integration, and real‑time robotic behaviours, including pipelines utilizing stereo/RGB cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, and force/torque sensors.
• Collaborate closely with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system‑level integration.
• Build, test, and deploy robotics software in real‑world production environments.
• Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of robotic software systems.

• Proven experience developing software for robotics or automation systems in similar industries.
• Strong proficiency in Python, along with solid experience using Git, Unix/Linux shell, and related developer tooling.
• Hands‑on experience debugging, testing, and deploying robotics software on physical hardware.

• Experience working with AI‑driven, adaptive, or learning‑based robotic systems.
