Senior Robotics Engineer

We’re seeking a hands‑on Senior Robotics Software Engineer to help design, build, and optimize advanced robotic systems and intelligent automation solutions in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment.

In this role, you’ll work closely with cross‑functional engineering teams on projects involving robotic platforms, teleoperation systems, control software, navigation, fleet optimization, and hardware/software integration. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to real‑world robotic systems while helping guide technical direction and mentoring team members.

• Design, develop, and maintain software for robotic and autonomous systems
• Build and improve real‑time or near‑real‑time control systems
• Develop software for hardware integration, sensor processing, and robotic communication
• Contribute to fleet management, navigation, and teleoperation capabilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, hardware, and systems engineering
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD best practices
• Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize system performance for production environments
• Support deployment, scalability, and reliability of robotic platforms

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including experience in robotics, autonomous systems, aerospace, or other hardware‑integrated environments
• Strong experience building and delivering production software for real‑world systems
• Proficiency with:
• C++
• Python
• Docker
• Experience with:
• Real‑time or distributed control systems
• Hardware/software integration
• Modern software development practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review
• Strong understanding of scalable and maintainable software architecture

• Experience optimizing software for constrained compute or memory environments
• Simulation experience using tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or similar
• Experience with low‑latency networking or teleoperation systems
• Background in computer vision, SLAM, perception, or machine learning
• Startup, R&D, or high‑growth technology environment experience
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
