Location: Gardena, CA

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday (some Saturday OT) | 4:30 AM - 12:30 PM

The Yard Coordinator is responsible for managing trailer movements, maintaining yard organization, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring safe and efficient yard operations. This role works closely with warehouse personnel, transportation teams, and drivers to support daily logistics activities.

• 1+ year related experience
• Monitor and maintain the organization of trailers, containers, and equipment in the yard
• Coordinate trailer movements and assign dock doors for loading and unloading activities
• Verify trailer numbers, seal numbers, and shipment documentation
• Conduct yard audits and maintain accurate yard inventory records
• Communicate with drivers regarding check‑in, check‑out, and trailer placement procedures
• Ensure trailers are available for scheduled shipments and receiving activities
• Inspect trailers and yard equipment for safety and operational concerns
• Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), or yard management systems (YMS)
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Report equipment damage, safety hazards, or operational issues to management
• Support warehouse and transportation teams as needed to meet customer requirements

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
