Tow Truck Driver

South Bay Auto Auction has been independently owned and operated in since 1993. Our experienced team specializes in vehicle remarketing services, including transportation, reconditioning, inspections, and live internet auctions, serving credit unions, banks, finance companies, leasing and rental agencies, and used car dealers.

We are seeking a motivated Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles within our auction yard and to external locations. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are handled with care while adhering to safety standards and cargo securement protocols. • Clean driving record is required.
• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized equipment, to transport vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Load and unload vehicles using proper cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to vehicle mechanics, cargo securement, and commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, inspections, and service logs.
• Provide any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

• Proficiency in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other related equipment.
• Knowledge of manual transmissions and vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers.
• Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Familiarity with cargo securement protocols to ensure safe transportation of vehicles.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
