RN - Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Days

Position Overview

This role involves providing direct nursing care within the Med Surg department, ensuring patient care aligns with organizational policies and protocols.

Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring care plans, communicating patient conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, executing physician and nursing orders, and managing discharge planning with the healthcare team.

• Current RN licensure or eligibility through the Alabama Board of Nursing
• One year of RN experience required
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross

• Delivering safe, effective nursing care following established protocols
• Collaborating with healthcare team members for comprehensive patient management
• Documenting patient information accurately and communicating critical updates
• Assisting with discharge planning to meet patient needs
