Grocery Clerk

Role Summary

Food and Consumable associates focus on taking care of customers and creating merchandising displays. They move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and build seasonal displays to meet customer needs.

Shift may start between 8:00 am and 11:00 am, or between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Hourly rate: $15.00 – $28.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Work in the deli, bakery, or dry grocery department and provide front‑line customer service.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food and assist with cake orders or deli orders.
• Maintain product quality in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Clean and sanitize shelves and the department, check temperature controls, verify dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
