CRMA - Alzheimer's Care Center Day Program day shift; M-F

Position Overview

Maine General is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join the Day Services team at the Alzheimer’s Care Center in Gardiner. The position is a 20‑hour per week, day‑shift role (Mon‑Fri) under the supervision of an RN.

• Provides patient care under RN supervision in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
• Performs basic patient care activities and administers medications as directed.
• Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assists with maintaining the patient’s environment safe, clean, and orderly.

• Minimum 1 year of experience (preferred).
• Maine CRMA certification required and must obtain a Personal Support Specialist unit within 120 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support Provider preferred.

• Shift differential: up to $7/hr for certain shifts.
