Work Shift: Days - Full Time
3 12‑hour shifts per week, with some 8‑hour Saturday shifts required. The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process to coordinate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, promote and restore patient health, collaborate with physicians and team members, and provide physical and psychological support to patients and families. The RN will exemplify the organization’s core values of compassion, integrity, and unity and practice within the boundaries of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, specialty standards, and organizational policies.
Responsibilitiesand Essential Job Functions
- Consistently meet work schedule.
- Demonstrate critical thinking utilizing all aspects of the nursing process.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Coordinate health care services with hospital, vendors, physician offices, and other institutions.
- Answer patient/significant others phone calls, evaluate patient needs, and triage patient care.
- Provide patient/family education using available resources.
- Act as liaison between patient, significant others, and health team members.
- Identify areas for professional growth.
- Participate fully as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team.
- Perform the professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Education and Experience
- Associate Degree Nursing
- High School Graduate
Education and Experience
- 1 or more years of previous healthcare experience
- 1 or more years of ED experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) – Multi‑State – State Board of Nursing
- Staff hired prior to 2/1/2024 must obtain a multi‑state RN license from the state in which they reside at the time of next renewal by 3/31/2026.
- CPR/AED/BLS – Other BLS
