Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Description

Our team is seeking an experienced Controller for an on-site position in Gardner, MA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Oracle financial systems.

Experience with Adaptive is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards

+ Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

+ Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

+ Utilize Oracle systems for financial reporting and process improvements

+ Collaborate across departments to support strategic business initiatives

+ Lead internal and external audits

+ Analyze financial data to assist in executive decision-making

+ Mentor and guide accounting staff

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ At least five years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles

+ Advanced proficiency with Oracle financial systems

+

Experience with Adaptive is advantageous

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

+ Ability to work full-time on-site in Gardner, MA
