Job Overview

Arbor Associates is seeking reliable and flexible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our per diem bench team supporting residential programs in the Gardner/Fitchburg area. This position is ideal for someone looking for supplemental income and who has a flexible schedule. Bench staff fill open shifts due to call-outs, vacations, leaves of absence, and other staffing needs. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary from week to week.

Schedule

• Per diem (as needed)
• Primarily 2nd Shift and Overnight (3rd Shift)
• Weekend availability required
• Must be able to accept shifts on short notice when possible

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene and meal preparation as needed.
• Encourage independence while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Complete required documentation and report any changes or incidents.
• Follow individualized support plans and behavioral support strategies.
• Transport or accompany individuals in the community when required.
