We are helping our client, a well established manufacturing company that designs and produces precision industrial products used across automotive, aerospace, medical device, energy, and general industrial markets, find a direct hire on-site Process Improvement Engineer.
Position Highlight:- Full Time on-site role in the Gardner, MA area
- Title:
Process Improvement Engineer - Stable, established manufacturing company focused on Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence
- MUST be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field preferred
- Experience working directly in a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, and waste reduction projects
- Knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standardized Work, Root Cause Analysis, A3 Problem Solving, TPM, SMED, Kanban, and/or Six Sigma
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
- Ability to train, coach, and gain buy-in from production teams and leadership
- Experience improving manufacturing KPIs such as scrap reduction, OEE, throughput, cycle time, downtime, safety, first-pass yield, productivity, and cost savings
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work at all levels of an organization
- Stable, well-established manufacturing organization
