• Provide perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases under the surgeon’s direction.
• Safely administer medications and IV therapies; monitor patient responses and adjust as needed.
• Maintain sterile fields, prepare and handle surgical instruments, and validate counts (sponges, needles, instruments).
• Verify patient identity, consent, procedure, and site prior to the operating room; support patient positioning and safety.
• Document promptly and thoroughly; communicate patient status and care plan during handoffs to the surgical team.

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• OR nursing experience; CNOR strongly preferred
• BLS current; ACLS required on hire or within 60 days if not already held
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Ability to function in a fast‑paced OR environment with competing priorities; strong communication skills
