As a Registered Nurse in the OR, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgery. Your expertise and dedication will ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care are met. You will be responsible for:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions and patient goals
• Providing patient care based on established standards, protocols, and procedures
• Delivering patient and family education tailored to individual needs
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to prepare patients for discharge
• Delegating and supervising nursing interventions appropriately
• Documenting all pertinent data and patient responses accurately and timely
• Promoting learning and professional development for yourself and colleagues
• Administering medications and IV therapy safely and in accordance with orders
• Performing pre-admission testing and coordinating ancillary testing for day surgery patients
• Providing emotional support to patients undergoing surgery

Requirements for this role include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current MA Registered Nurse License
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and nursing assessment
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Prior SDC, PAT, Endoscopy, or OR experience preferred
