Ambulatory Clinic RN - Urgent Care

Full time.

Location:

Gardner Edgerton Medical Pavilion.

Schedule:

3 12‑hour shifts per week, with some 8‑hour Saturday shifts required.

• Consistently meet work schedule.
• Demonstrate critical thinking utilizing all aspects of the nursing process.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Coordinate health care services with hospital, vendors, physician’s offices and other institutions.
• Answer patient and significant other phone calls, evaluate patient needs, and triage patient care.
• Provide patient/family education using available resources.
• Act as liaison between patient, significant others and health team members.
• Identify areas for professional growth.
• Participate fully as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team.
• Perform the professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

• Associate Degree Nursing
• High School Graduate

• One or more years of previous healthcare experience
• One or more years of ED experience

• Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) – Multi‑State – State Board of Nursing
• CPR/AED/BLS – other BLS
• Staff hired prior to 2/1/2024 are required to obtain a multistate state RN license from the state in which they live at the time of their next RN license renewal by 3/31/2026.
