Emergency Room Nurse

Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute conditions, ensuring rapid assessment and intervention to stabilize and support patient health.

• Assess and prioritize patients upon arrival, performing rapid triage and initial assessment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that align with established protocols and standards.
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and facilitate airway management in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic data, notifying physicians of abnormal findings.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatments, and discharge instructions, fostering understanding and compliance.

• Hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess 3-5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience, with preference for urgent care exposure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS); obtain certifications within required time frames if not already held.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to perform under pressure.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency protocols, trauma procedures, and legal reporting requirements.
