American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a Massachusetts license for a 13-week assignment featuring 4x10-hour day shifts and weekly on-call requirements.

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• 40-hour, 4x10-hour day shift schedule (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On-call required one night per week and weekends based on staffing needs
• No floating or weekend shift requirements outside of on-call rotations
• Uses Omnicell, Meditech Expanse, and SBAR communication systems

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience in general, gynecologic, orthopedic, urologic, and other OR surgical specialties preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though qualified first-time travelers may be considered

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including general, gynecologic, orthopedic, urologic, and ENT procedures
• Floating may occur in rotation with facility staff according to clinical experience and facility policy
• Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
• Minimize requests for time off, especially during the first two weeks of the assignment or for full weeks off
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will be accepted at the same pay rate
• Interview availability must be provided along with time zone details
