Auto Shop Recruiting is partnering with a high-performing independent repair facility in the Garfield Heights, OH area that is looking to add a true diagnostic technician to their team. This is a shop that values skill, efficiency, and professionalism — and backs it up with consistent workflow, strong leadership, and the right environment to succeed.

This is not an entry-level role. This is for a technician who can own the problem, find the answer, and fix it right the first time.

• Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using modern scan tools and equipment
• Execute high-level repairs across a wide range of makes and models
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation and inspection notes
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional shop environment

• 5+ years of hands-on automotive experience
• Ability to work independently without constant oversight
• High level of accountability and pride in workmanship
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• ASE certifications are a plus (not required)

• Up to $45/hr based on experience and production
