The Project Estimator is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Garfield Heights, OH. This position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for landscaping and hardscaping projects, including analyzing project plans, specifications, and site conditions. Day‑to‑day tasks include reviewing design concepts, obtaining and comparing vendor and subcontractor quotes, and creating detailed proposals and budgets for clients. The Project Estimator will collaborate with designers, project managers, and field teams to refine scopes of work, value engineer projects, and ensure estimates align with client expectations and company profitability goals.

The role also involves maintaining up‑to‑date pricing databases, tracking project costs versus estimates, and supporting bid presentations and client communications.

• Demonstrated skills in Project Estimation and Landcsape/Landcape Design Estimating, with the ability to interpret drawings, scopes, and specifications.
• Strong Cost Management and Budgeting skills to develop accurate bids, track costs, and support project profitability.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients, and for presenting estimates clearly.
• Experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field, with understanding of materials, labor, and equipment used in outdoor projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and basic project management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work on‑site in Garfield Heights, OH, including occasional site visits and outdoor evaluations.
