About This Role

The New Grad RN Resident in the ICU at Marymount Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to develop their skills in a high‑acuity environment. This role offers a comprehensive residency program that combines hands‑on training with professional growth opportunities.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour

  Full‑time, Day shift

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preference, and resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing;
  Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience:
  
  New grad or less than one year RN work experience;
  If experienced, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN);
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS).
