About This Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager for the Complex Medicine Unit at Marymount Hospital is responsible for providing direction and support to unit staff while overseeing patient care and nursing programs. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills who is looking to shape a growing unit.
Highlights- Pay: $39.50 - $59.60/hour
- Location: Garfield Heights, OH
- Facility: Marymount Hospital
- Department/Unit: Complex Medicine Unit
- Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
- Provide direction and support to the unit staff and supervise admissions.
- Conduct assessments of patients' needs and initiate nursing care plans.
- Evaluate and document patient progress.
- Facilitate planning, implementation, development, and evaluation of nursing programs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between the manager, staff, and other areas within the organization.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care services.
- Prepare schedules of work assignments assuring adequate coverage.
- Participate in and support quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
- Assist in orienting new personnel and in-service educational programs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required
- Experience: 2+ years of recent clinical nursing experience required

Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
